Stephanie is a certified CrossFit coach, yoga teacher, and personal trainer. A former competitive gymnast and dancer who started weightlifting when she was 15, Stephanie discovered CrossFit in 2006, began coaching CrossFit in 2007, and has never looked back. For Stephanie, CrossFit isn’t just about looking and feeling fit, but about how CrossFit enhances the other things she loves to do in life. CrossFit has made her a faster runner with improved recovery times. She notes a stronger, more solid yoga and meditation practice. CrossFit even helped to forge a mental and physical toughness in Stephanie that she credits for supporting her through the birth of her first son! In short, CrossFit is an essential practice that makes everything in her life better. Stephanie has a phenomenal eye for movement. She excels in effectively coaching to all learning styles, (visual, physical, auditory, etc.) ensuring that every athlete leaves her class better than when they arrived. The most important part of coaching for Stephanie is helping her athletes, especially female athletes, get past mental limitations to their physical excellence. Her blend of experience, expertise, and sincere love (sometimes tough love) for the transformative power of CrossFit training makes Stephanie’s classes extremely popular with athletes of all levels. When she’s not training, coaching, or growing the RVC community, Stephanie loves reading, hot yoga, exploring the world with her tribe of males, aka Nick and their two boys, and meditating on self-actualization, world peace, body mechanics, and cheese.
